“Where should I spend my money?” – One of the most common questions we hear when someone is looking to add customization to their home.

Building a new home is a large investment, and you’re going to want to make sure you have everything you need, and most of what you want (after all, you work hard and deserve to live in your dream home). But where should you spend your hard-earned cash when building a new home?

Location
If you’ve had a town called “home” for your whole life, or your heart has been set on where you want to settle down, this is one element that is worth the money. We currently have lots available in six, soon to be seven communities, but if those don’t meet your needs you can also build on a custom lot of your own.

Closets
California closets are worth every cent you will spend. While these are an upgrade to the standard shelving, the sleek look will take your bedrooms from good to great, while optimizing storage space to create a functional solution. Whether you choose to add them to your master suite, all the bedrooms or another area of the home, this is one upgrade you won’t regret.

Master Bath
Many elements you can add to your master bathroom are part of the standard selections available in each floor plans. In addition to the custom tile, walk-in showers, and elegant mirrors, you might want to add in additional luxury shower heads or body jets. Waterfall shower heads are one simple and affordable way to make your already luxurious bathroom even more like a spa.

Kitchen
With a large variety of cabinet selections to choose from, it’s hard to find more ways to upgrade your kitchen, but consider the finishing touches like these elegant handles on the cupboard doors and drawers, or custom backsplash tile to complete the look of your kitchen.

Fireplace
Almost every one of our floor plans includes a custom-built mantel with tile, creating an elegant focal point in your great room and a cozy place to gather friends and family. Whether you choose a standard painted mantel or upgrade to a more intricate design, your tile and mantel selections can do wonders to create a chic look.
